It will be a week full of interesting meetings that is about to begin! This time you will find me in a box 7 days a week, so I pay a pledge for having a fever and for being closed on Saturday. Of course, if every time I host a presentation despite a high fever then I sell all the books (witnessed by Piero Balzoni who presented How to kill lobsters on Friday) I could think about it and agree with the mercury in the thermometer. Monday 25 January at 20.00 the monthly appointment with the library reading group returns. Group moderated by Federico Tavola, author of the area and now a friend of the box. Which novel are we going to talk about? The Snow Girl by Eowyn Ivey – Einaudi – Translated by Monica Pareschi. 
There is already a heated discussion about our whats app group. Readers with decidedly conflicting opinions. I am sure it will be a meeting full of ideas. Wednesday 27th I will be at a publisher’s dinner meeting on the occasion of the publication of a new novel. I will then tell you in how many corners I will have hidden myself to go unnoticed and because of my shyness. Friday 29 January at 6.45 pm we will meet Luciano Funetta who will tell us about his novel Dalle Rovine published by Tunué. He will speak with the author Ivano Porpora.

And let’s finish on Sunday with a trip to Writers ! at 3.30 pm I will be a guest, together with other booksellers, of Chicca Gagliardo. We will talk about books, independent bookstores, the bookstores of our dreams, about those ideals of what we can do and what we can do without. I’m pretty upset, but you know how I am. You say that having a shot of wine at 3pm, just to relax, is too early?
